EBER was her father, a financial adviser to a lord at the court of the present dynasty, the one his daughter would soon marry into. surrounded by money, her ambitious father was consumed by greed, growing dissatisfied by his wife, his daughter, & their cottage in the village. he would find his end behind glass, a servant to his daughter within a mirror. HULDERICH ( meaning merciful ruler ) was the name of the King, the man Adelind once loved until his betrayal, the man she grew to possess until his murder death.
& the only two male hearts to reside in ornate boxes are that of the King & of Eber, her father.
