OFTEN SHE WAS LEFT TO wallow in her chambers, as if LOCKED in a tower so far away, so distant from all whom she once surrounded herself with. none dared to visit but the ladies tending to her, the King remained preoccupied with his living heir, his beautiful daughter. & the Queen, now with a h o l l o w womb, was only left with PHANTOMS as company & the TERRORS that would visit her darkest dreams. silence was often broken with her cries or screams if startled from her slumber perhaps her weeping was what drew the company of her present visitor though her gaze never flitted to acknowledge him but remained fixated on the VOID.
